Even if you cannot sign in or have uninstalled the app, you can email the support address above with the subject I want to delete my Poometry account. Tell us whether you used Apple or Google; we will reply to securely verify your relationship to the account. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, recovery keys, health entries or photos.
Sending a request does not mean deletion is complete. We will tell you the outcome after verification and provider operations finish. Cloud account deletion removes the active server account, encrypted records, sessions and subscription cache; RevenueCat customer cleanup is also performed. The limited deletion record used to prevent restoration from backups and retention details are explained in the Privacy Policy.
This does not remove local journals on other devices, files you shared or your store subscription. Manage your subscription separately through the store where you purchased it; you do not need to subscribe again to request account deletion.
Your journal is encrypted on your device. If you enable synchronization, content is encrypted on your device; encrypted blocks are sent to the server, but the decryption key is not. When you export and share, your chosen recipient receives the file. Account, payment, support and optional technical error-report data are explained separately in the Privacy Policy.
Open plans from the Poometry Pro section at the top of Settings in the app. Current prices load from the store; if no price appears, a purchase is not considered complete. Your store account and Poometry account are different. Pro covers PDF report export and additional pattern details; manual journaling remains free.
On iPhone: Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. With normal cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period; for refunds or store-canceled transactions, the store's access decision applies. Follow the Apple subscription instructions or Google Play subscription instructions.
Submit a refund request through the store where you purchased the subscription; approval depends on the applicable terms. iOS: Apple refund requests. Android: use the refund process in Google Play Help.
To remove the journal on this device, use Settings → Delete data on this device. This does not delete your cloud account, copies on other devices or store subscription.
For your cloud account, use Settings → Account → Delete cloud account. Progress remains on your device and synchronization pauses until deletion is confirmed. If the connection is interrupted, check deletion status on the same screen. Cloud account deletion also does not remove local journals on your devices or cancel your store subscription.
Without your recovery code and without the key on a working device, we cannot open the encrypted server journal on a new device. If your journal still opens on your old device, export your data first; do not delete the key or app. Previously exported files are separate copies. Do not send your recovery code to support; we do not store it.
